Almost done. Need to install the drop vents and some door stops and seals. Then it's on to the interior finish and the run. After that will be the covered front porch.

The coop, other than the interior and front porch, is done. Installed the gable vents and nesting box today. Just need to paint the nesting box and the exterior is done. Next is the interior, run and covered front porch.

Added a rear vent today that can be closed off. Also started work on the interior - rigid foam board insulation. I salvaged some old cedar fence boards - planed them down and got one interior wall done. Looks pretty good I think.

Took a break from the coop to get the run going. Other than that, everything that is left I can do without help - taking advantage of my better half's days off.. The run frame was built yesterday (2x4's and Kreg HD pocket screws). Today it's cobbled together in the garage getting painted (primer coat done). Then I'll install the hardware cloth, install the panels on the 4x4 foundation and then trim it out. Run is 12' long and 6' wide, shorter then the coop but mimics the same roof line (a little shallower). It will have a metal roof on rafters and purlins.

Walls painted, hardware cloth installed and run on the foundation! Making rafters next, then it's the roof and all the trim. The end is in sight! I started construction on 5/15!

I completed 2 more interior walls. I'm waiting on the final wall until I get the drop door installed. I have that, and the run door to get done and then just a few more interior details and a predator-proofing check. The roof went on the run yesterday. Oh, and I then move on to the covered front porch..
