Oh my! They are lovely. The infant in the bottom pic is just too cute for words! Is there another viable egg in that nest?

Interesting nest box, doesn't look like a typical loft?

We are coming up on 2 weeks with that egg and no one is sitting on it anymore so I'm assuming its not fertilized. I will remove it tomorrow morning. But the good news is there are a few other eggs throughout the aviary so I'm sure I will have a few more chicks soon enough.

Yes I have used furniture items throughout the aviary that make very good nesting boxes, I just line them with Burlap and then some hay on top and let the birdies find the spots on their own

Usually 2 each round within days of each other.
