Hi all! I've been to this site repeatedly for the last year, and it is WONDERFUL! Thought it was time to join. We've used the great ideas to build our "perfect" coop and run, to answer the millions of questions we've had, and to just look at the beautiful pics of all of your fabulous birds.

Got our day old chicks from the Co-op last Feb... 2 Barred Rocks, 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes, 2 Light Brahms, 2 Easter Eggers, and 2 Black Star (one did not make it). We have had the best time watching the physical changes as they've grown into beautiful "ladies" and seeing their personalities develop.

Having absolutely no chicken experience before I brought them home just added another layer to the fun. Haha... we call Backyard Chickens our "Chicken Manual." The information has been invaluable.

Thank you!
