Thanks for all the welcomes!! I figured I'd post some pictures of my chickens that I took real quick with my phone to show everyone.

Here are my Delaware roosters, which I'm really proud of:


And here are 3 of my 8 sussex hens:


And 2 of my 3 delaware hens:


I kind of wanted to breed my delawares for show, but the hens don't really have good tails. My roosters turned out gorgeous though, in my opinion. My sussex are just kind of my pretty girls that I got lucky and hatched out from 8 ebay eggs that all turned into hens :)
 
Hey! I am a Texan and I just joined today! I'm 45 minutes east of Dallas down I-30. I have 7 month old Amber Sex Link roosters (I think, they were given to me) and 5 month old Gold Sex Link hens bought at Atwoods. Joined today because one of my hens ended up with a broken leg this morning. Been searching for advice and found lots of good stuff at BarnYard Chickens! Still looking for what to do if the break is a the "knee" joint...
