New Thanksgiving Traditions

My New Thanksgiving Tradition seems to be having chicks in the dining room.

This is the 6th year we will be having bew chicks in the dining room.
The last 2 years in a row we had hatches on thanksgiving day.
And last year the PO called and said we had a box of eggs could we come get them now,
I said yes and ran out the door.
This year we will have chicks that are about a week old peeping while we are eating.


These birds make us happy.

I have 7 that are almost 2 weeks and 1 week, and 2 5 week old silkies.
I moved them to the utility room so we wouldn't have chicken dust flying everywhere at Thanksgiving dinner.
It doesn't bother me, but I figured mom, grandma, and MIL wouldn't like it.
I also have 5 silkie eggs due on the 21st.
