My own chicks always were a little finicky in the beginning (even if they saw the older chickens loving it, they wouldnt try it) , but as they got older they enjoy everything. Try those same things in a month or two and you will have a different outcome.

Mealworms, scrambled egg and probiotic yoghurt mixed with chick starter. Mind go mad for these.

My Silkies would turn their heads up at every "treat" item I tried until i blended up some raspberries from my garden. That and oatmeal are the only treats they will eat.

Just thought of something else they love... polystyrene! The little pains-in-the-neck keep finding every speck in the garden from when we insulated the pond. Grrrrr

Good ol' cheap old fashioned oats! Mine have always loved them from the beginning and it is still their favorite. And they love to eat it right out of your hand so it is a good way to really get them to fall in love with you - if they haven't already!
