New Time Layer Problems

Ok so I have several things I need some input on:
Background information: my chickens just started laying last weekend(she layed every day but one since then), and since then one other hen has also layed(first of her egg yesterday

). I put fake eggs in their boxes, but they always kick them out and I find them everywhere, so about a week ago I took all of them out because they are all over. They also kick all of their hay out of their nesting boxes My first layer played her first egg in a nesting box, but since then all have been on the ground in her house. The other layer layed her first egg in the run. I need help to figure out how to get them to lay in their nesting box, and keep the hay and such in their boxes. Hope this all makes sense! Put a larger lip on the nest boxes so that they can not kick out the nesting material.

Ditto the higher front lip on nest......putting the fakes back in will test efficiency.
New layer so a lot of messing around in the nest, they should stop that after they get it all in the groove...can take up to a month or so.
