WELCOME dodge
. I am from middle ga.. I feed my birds from the garden also. Now(winter) I have a BIG patch with turnips mixed with abruzzi rye growing together. I go and pull 4 bushell baskets of the turnip/ rye mix & the girls eat like kings... in the summer thery get grass caught in the mower. They free range but I had to fence them into about 1/2 acre with electric fence because of coyotes, fox, & dogs.

Everyone on here loves to share experience. But a word of warning, BYC can be addicting...

I'm sure you will find just what you are looking for.
