Hey, I'm new here. Have dreamed of homesteading & back yard chickens for a long time...finally just doing it.
I look forward to learning from you all.
Region: The Springs
How many? 5-6 new babies hatching soon. In incubator now.
Coop? Building my own. Have done tons of research for ventilation. Practical cleaning. Best spaces, etc. Looking forward to learning, teaching & training a new normal to our family. My extended family had a chicken farm & I grew up going to it regularly...I want to do things differently & better.

Welcome. I too am also new and have found this community to be the best and most knowledgeable for modern concepts and tech. The last time we had chickens was 15 years ago and I wish I had a resource like this when we were outfitting our homestead for chickens then.
