New to BackYard Chickens but not new to backyard chickens

Hello everyone, I live in central Georgia and have had chickens on and off for the last 20 years...mostly on. I currently have started a new flock of chickens and some Indian Runner ducks as well. I ordered some "rare breeds" from a hatchery, included in that batch was a couple of Lavender Orpingtons which I fell in love with so I ordered 10 more to keep as a dual breed flock. I also intend to order some Peking ducks as meat birds. Other than taking care of my poultry I also care for my brothers horse. Other than that, I am studying for my Master's Degree and watch one of my grandkids while his mom goes to nursing school. so my days are busy!
