Hello, just signed up. I have been reading this site for a while and thought I might as well join! I am a psychiatric nurse by career and a crazy animal lady by hobby. I have a backyard flock of 25 and we LOVE our chickens. We have some pet pigs, dogs and cats.
It's hard to find support especially for chickens as I find they are easily dismissed even in the vet work. Hope to find some great support here and visa versa

If you haven't yet, please make your chickens a FIRST AID KIT for any issues that would arise.
It's definitely better to have it and not need it rather than need it and not have it.

Also, make sure your coop(s) have a proper amount of VENTILATION. Your chickens will absolutely thank you for it! :D

All crazy ANIMAL lovers are welcome here.... put on your chicken slippers and pull up a rocker.....
