Hey everyone, I've been a lurker for a long time but I'm ready to start posting. I've been had chickens for years and I've always had bantams but we just bought a house that came with some chickens so I'm going to need some help identifying the breeds (either RIR or a sexlink variant) and another. I hope to contribute some of my knowledge. I just built a coop with a rainwater catchment system for watering and an automatic feeder if anyone is interested.

Here is my coop. We may have went a little overboard. We currently have 16 chickens and 2 Guineas. We wanted a large run because of all the hawks in the area. We were free ranging every day until a few of the neighbor's chickens were taken. The watering system is just some IBC totes fed by gutters and we're using watering nipples. The feeder is a deer feeder that only shoots one direction and it shoots into a 4" PVC that "Y's" 3 ways so the chickens don't have to fight over who can eat. The deer feeder allows us to program it so that we can just feed in the morning and all the feed is gone before the mice come out at night.
