New to Backyard (Suburban) Chicken Keeping!!!

Hello Everyone,

I'm brand new to backyard chicken keeping. I live in Long Island, NY and have three girls, a Barnvelder, Rhodebar and Blue Maron. So far so good, about a month or so away from eggs and I'm so excited and glad to have made the plunge into chicken keeping.

Built the coop myself (pre-fab) and they have all settled in nicely. I can see I will need to add an extension before winter sets in - other than that it's all good,
