This is the first time I've had Bantams and I'm wondering, do they mature faster than a standard size chicken ? It seems like one started crowing pretty quick.

Each bantam breed is different than each other, some breeds mature fast, some slow. For instance, this year I got some old english game hens and the couple roos I am going to end up with started crowing pretty young, around a month or so! And also I got some brahmas and silkies, the brahmas started crowing around 2 months, but my silkies are almost 3 months old now and I don't expect them to crow for one to 3 more months! So every breed is different. What kind do you have?

I'm not sure but one is buff colored, and one is speckled. I'll get a picture on here later. I bought them at a feed store and the cashier just said they were mixed bantams.

In my experience, yes.By the time ours was two months the rooster was already taking on his responsibility. On top of that, they seem to form long term relationships at a very young age,as large fowl are all over the place and don’t seem to have better bonds nearly as close as a pair of bantams can.
