New to BYC and chickens in general!

Hi there! I'm from Northern California and we just came into some chickens from friends who were moving out of state. They gave us three hens and one rooster of the Buff Orpington variety. I'm really excited about all this though I am completely new and inexperienced. I'm really glad I found this place because I hope that when questions arise I might bring them to the wonderful people here for help!
