Well I wanted to know because iam about to move them to a new location in our yard, The ground they where on was dirt, gravel and hay was placed on top. but I learned its not very neat or clean to have this combination. Does any one have a better idea on what i can use for there floor? Please help I live in Texas and it gets very HOT DOWN HERE
There are Pekin chickens too. I dont know if you can use sand for ducks or not but a lot of people use sand in their coops and runs. Ducks are kind of messy with their water which is probably what is causing your problems. I know one member on here (redsoxs) who knows more about ducks, says to elevate their food and water on a little platform in one end for their enclosure so they dont make such a mess of things. Thats for baby ducks tho and I dont know if that works for older ducks or not. You may also want to check in with some fellow duck owners in the duck thread. Just click on the brown Forum tab at the top of the page then Other Backyard Poultry then Ducks. I bet someone there can better answer your questions
