Hey there every one! First let me start by saying MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! I hope everyone is surrounded by family, food and chickens! I have looked at this site repeatedly over the last 8 months due to the fact that that's when I became a new mommy to 6 gorgeous girls! I have three Buff Orpingtons, two EE's and one Jersey Giant. I got my EE's and JG as chicks and raised them but the BO's were about 15 weeks when I got them. Needless to say I am addicted now. I live in the city limits (thanks to our forced annexation...sarcasm) so I can't have any more than 6. Trust me...I want tons more! Anyhoo, I FINALLY signed up tonight to this awesome site and wanted to share my finished coop. I am super excited. I hope to get to talk to lots of you in the days to come.~Beth
Welcome to BYC and Happy Holidays! Very pretty coop, the red paint with the white picket fence is a really nice touch. You might want to consider swapping out the chicken wire for hardware cloth for extra predator protection.
