New to BYC and need help identifying my ducks!

Hi! My husband recently purchased these beautiful ducks for my 3 year old daughter. ( she just had to have them, and is actually doing a great job taking care of them!) we were under the impression they were Indian Runners, but as they have matured I am almost positive that is not the case!

Hmmm...thinking the 2 with eye stripes are Rouens, the all brown one is a Khaki Campbell (female) the othebrown and whites, possibly Anconas, I'm not sure.....

Next opinion?

The all brown ones look like Khaki Campbells (I have two) And they are most definitely not Runners (I have a fawn and white). They probably mistook them for black Runners when they were ducklings wherever you got them, it' s a pretty common mistake when they are very young. (All the same colour and such)

Well the ones with the stripes look like female Mallards and the splotched white and brown could be juvenile Muscovy but they lack the red wattle. (or any number of wild crosses produce that pattern) Mystery ducks!

I don't see any specific breeds in the bunch. No runners for certain. Probably some Mallard mixes, possibly some Khaki, Harlequin, Swedish mixes but who really knows. If you like them and your daughter likes them, if they are friendly and fit in with your life then they are probably just the breed you need. Sort of like my dogs, they are BOAB's...Best Of All Breeds all mixed together to make the perfect pets. So you have a little flock of BOAB Ducks. Maybe someone needs to start a BOAB Duck thread.
