I am from Upstate NY. My husband and I recently started to raise chickens. Just this weekend we acquired 3 Pekin Ducks
The ducks are fully grown and the some of the chickens have their crests. Since I am new to learning about ducks I would like to know if there is any good information anyone would like to give me. The chickens we are getting used to and we think we have them down (kinda) I've recently done alot of research on chickens but I really cannot find too much on ducks. Currently our ducks are housed next to the chickens in a storage shed that we converted to kinda like a small animal barn. Being that the ducks are sooo messy. We basically have a block floor and we covered that up with a tarp that is easier to clean. I want to do something different with the floor and my husband doesnt want to spend alot of money. So if there are any suggestions It would be greatly appreciated.
