Hi my name is Nicole. We have had chickens since last August got them when they were about 4 months old. We have a Black Astrolorp (Elvira), an Americuana (Rainbow), an Egyptian Fayomi (Zebra), and a Rhode Island Red (Peanut Butter). We also adopted a Black Astrolorp (Blackie) she is about 2 1/2 or 3 years old (her sisters got killed by foxes) we got her in october of 2011. I've enjoyed learning about them. Each one is truly different just like children. I love this site and used it in the beginning to set up the coop and other information. I hope to continue learning about my flock of 5 and their ways.
