New to BYC- baby chicks

Hi I am new to backyard chickens and was wondering if anyone knows what kind of chicken this is, I was told it would lay blue/green eggs. It is about 2 weeks old


Can anyone tell me what kind of chicken this one is too?


this little one I have had to cage separate because he(she) will peck the other ones bums
how do I stop that behavior?

Hi and welcome to BYC from northern Michigan

The first chick is probably an Easter Egger (EE). The second is hard to tell at this age, and the photo is a little blurry. If you have the chicks under a light, use a red one to decrease picking.

I agree, I think the first one is an EE, especially as you mention blue/green eggs.
You should try What breed or gender is this? for the other one. I have no idea. Sorry!

Put something else in the brooder to distract the chicks from pecking each other - hang something shiny up, or maybe a bit of cabbage, something like that.
