Hello, it's nice to have you here! Sorry about the boy not making it, sometimes it just works that way. Are you going to look for another rooster or just have a lady flock?

Yes I am on the lookout for a rooster, would like a BBS Ameracauna, but not sure if I'm going to order fertile eggs or order from somewhere.

Very true, we had that experience once, that roo didn’t last 10 minutes after it jumped at our young daughter! He did make a good dinner though
