New to BYC but not to chickens

I am so glad to be joining this group and have had a wonderful time exploring all the information and ideas. Its been at least 20 yrs since the last time I had chickens but this time we are starting from scratch. We are almost finished building our coop and run and should be getting our new babies (8 variety of breeds) in a few weeks. I will post pictures at that time. I have really love the "what would you do differently for your coop" thread. Avid gardener, reader and sci-fi fan and Disney addict, 3 live-in grandkids, 3 mini dachshunds soon to be addict chicken owner.
