Hi all - Just joined and like what we see so far. We have been raising poultry for over 30 years and now that we're retired - enjoy it even more. Used to raise, show and sell - but today we raise pullets and hens for their eggs and fun! Chris was a past President of The United Orpington Club of America, but now enjoys many different kinds of standard-sized birds, especially American & English breeds.
We currently care and love the following: Americana, Delaware, Black-Copper Marans, Orpington, Wyandotte, and Buckeye soon (we hope). We house no roosters or cockerels (too stressful on the hens and pullets). We enjoy the calm, peaceful world of our girls. We get more eggs too!
