Hi,
I'm Sarah. I have grown up on a ninety acre farm in Remlap, Alabama. My family has raised cows, horses, goats, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, birds, and everything in between. I am now on my own and currently have two horses, two dogs, a cat, a tortoise, two gold fish, and now five silkie chickens. I have an eight month old rooster named Loki, who is partially blind but healthy, three six week old pullets named Honey, Pepper, and Cricket, and one four month old pullet named Siggy. While my family has owned and raised chickens in the past, this is the first time I have done it, and we never had silkies before. So far everything is going great. I have had several questions and BYC has had most of the answers! I'm excited to be part of such a wonderful community.
