Hello peeps my name is Maggie and I am new to all things chicken. I live on a farm in beautiful Washington state where I help my mother with raising chickens we will be selling Cornish cross chickens at the farm as well as incubating and breeding for a small clientele in our area this is my first year with incubation I'm on day 16 and slowly learning the do's and don'ts I already have orders to fill looking into buying more equipment and hatching chickies as well as raising good egg layers for eggs. I've grown really passionate with incubation seeing day zero to day sixteen wish me luck on hatching day :)

Hi Maggie, welcome to BYC!

If you haven't already seen it, there is a forum for incubating and hatching eggs that might be of interest to you. Here's a link to get you there:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/5/incubating-hatching-eggs

There is also a state thread for Washington you could use to 'connect' with other members more local to you:

Good luck to you and your mom with all the plans...you are going to be busy!

Sending good hatching vibes your way
