You have come to the right place for all the fun and learning! If you would like to chat with your chicken neighbors in Maine, you can do so here....https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/1370/maine

Enjoy this new adventure you are on and welcome to our flock!

Welcome to Backyard chickens. Has spring arrived in Maine yet? Some of our members from Maine, keep reeling off inches of snow they keep getting. One said it is only 5 mos. till they have snow again. Brrr. I hope your area is doing better.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided join our flock. Isa Brown is one of a number of labels under which some hatcheries market their Red Sex Links which are laying machines. You should get loads of eggs from those 8 girls.) Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in locating other members in your area.
