thanks for the welcomes. I have some silkies mostly nonbearded because it is so hard to find bearded ones. I like em fluffy not show quality but just for pets I ordered from a hatchery once but they were not bearded and I recently ordered from a breeder in California and the two birds arrived dead so I ended up out about $85 and birdless . I frequently check the abq craigslist and so far not much luck so if I do order chickens from somewhere else I will make sure it is closer to home.
