We are new to raising chickens but have been a frequent visitor to this forum in search of information and have finally decided to join. My family had chickens for awhile when I was a kid and we decided it would be a good experience for out daughters. We got them in May of this year (2012) and got our first eggs on the 9th of this month.
I truly appreciate the vast amount of knowledge and experience many of you have put forth on this forum; it has been a tremendous resource for me while researching every aspect of raising these birds.
Our current flock: 2 Ameraucanas, 2 Black Sex Links, 2 Barred Rocks & 2 Naked Neck Turkens.
