(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I first got chickens around 2 years ago and sold them, I recently got my chicks in feb. (2021) and I would consider myself a beginner
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I currently have 13 but, 8 of them I will give away once they are old enough to lay.
(3) What breeds do you have?
They are all Buff Orpingtons.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They give me something to do and look foward too.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
School if it counts
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I live on a farm so we have a 5 year old chocolate lab and lots of farm cats.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found this site by reading other blogs about how to raise chickens.
