New to BYC live in the Hattiesburg area and looking to buy 1 or 2 silkie hens

Go to "where am I, where are you," in the social forum to locate and post on your state thread. Tell them your area and what you are seeking in silkie hens. They will be nicer if you buy from a breeder instead of a hatchery.

You can try looking on Craigslist under farm & garden. Also, may want to google local chicken swaps. I have personally never went to a chicken swap, but know a few farmers that do. Just always remember when adding new chickens to quarantine first. Feel free to ask any questions here at BYC. We are here for you!
