My husband and I have had chickens over the years and had to sadly give ours away when we moved into our 5th wheel while builing a new home on our vacant lot. We worked hard for over 15 months clearing the land and then building my dream cape. My girls were suppose to come back to us once we finished and were able to build them thier own home but they slowly met their demise at the neighbors place. Yup even my favorite Twinkle who was just days away from hatching a group of tiny little eggs. She was a Belgian Antwerp, and so cute. Anyway we finally after all that disappointment decided to build a coop and get a small flock to feed ourselves. Our new coop is pedator proof for when they are confined and we only let them free range when we are home and about. It's good to have chickens again!
