New to byc...question about winter layers

Hello all- I’m new to this site, currently have 2 Plymouth Rock hybrids, 1 blue Orpington, 1 salmon Faverolles, 1 gold partridge Brahma, 1 marans.
Question:
My Brahma and Faverolles (both p.o.l.) are new breeds to me- anyone know if they’ll start laying this winter? I’ve heard that they’re both good winter layers....

They can lay in the winter, it all depends if they're ready to lay. Some take longer than others.

I have Brahma mixes in my incubator right now, I hope I get a pullet out of the 4 eggs to add to my flock.

Chickens choose on their own time when to lay, Ive learned this the past 5 years. Usually I wait as patiently as possible, but it's so hard sometimes!
