Welcome to BYC. I took ages to register too, instead lurking on the forums and seeking interesting tidbits to make things go better for me.

I keep silkies and faverolles, although I do have a small flock of "just layers" that include RIRs and Black Sex Links. I also have turkeys, ducks, quail, budgies, finches, a donkey, and a lone katahdin ewe who thinks she's going to get into the house any day now.
