[waves]
We are in rural Gettysburg, PA.
We are planning our new coop right now.
Provisionally named "Cluckingham Palace", someone has used this name before, so we'll try and come up with something else I guess.
We are not making things easy for ourselves with the chosen design.
It's octagonal.
I've got some sketches for the design, and we have a partial list of materials.
So we are close to being final on the design stage.
We have six chicks in our sunroom that we picked up three weeks ago.
We have a couple of cardboard boxes connected together for them.
They seem to be doing well.
The heat lamp just goes on at night now, and the room has a space heater in it, so it does not get too cold for them.
I have read about 'chicken math', so this coop is going to be big enough to have at least double the number of chickens we have now.
The missus already tried to bring two more home.
I do have some questions, even after scouring the forums etc.
I'll post those in the proper place soon.
Anyway, that will serve as my introduction then.
Cheers!

Thanks to all for making this resource available and so useful!
