New to BYC

Hi there! I am from lees summit Missouri! I have had ducks for a year and a half and recently have had my hen hatch a clutch and sadly 3 of her babies passed away but 7 servived. Unfortunately, a opossum got her last week and I am so sad and completely unsure what to do Seeking advice on what to do with the babies and her mate, My male Rouen... Any help is appreciated!

I'm sorry to hear about your ducklings. You can raise them yourself, near the drake, so he doesn't feel alone. As they age, he should learn to except them.

So sorry about your hen, they are good at teaching their ofspring about poultry life. They do tame better if hand raised.
