Hello there,

I am new to the site, and I love it! Has so much great information! We recently added 10 new members to our little family, 6 Wyandotte chickens, one runner duck, my favorite, such a sweet little thing, named him James Franco, one Muscovy which has a little black arrow on top of his head, we named him Samuel L Quackson and two Peking ducks, poor little things are only about two weeks old and huge and a bit clumsy, it's so cute! We just finished our coop today, we built it ourselves.I wanted something pretty spacious for them, I wanted them to have plenty of room to roam around. We already had a cooper's hawk checking out the chicks, good thing for chicken wire! Much to our surprise our cats don't seem to pay them much attention, thank goodness! We've had a few hiccups thus far, our waterers seem to leak but I think we've got it somewhat under control, I'm open to any advice. Well suppose I should wrap this up, just wanted to introduce myself and look forward to all this site has to offer!

Lastly but by no means least, the members here are amazing - very friendly and helpful, so if you need an answer to a question or simply want some reassurance that what you are doing is ok, then post away - we all help each other out here at BYC.

All the best
