(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I am starting again I guess to chickens. I had chickens all growing up and spent a lot of time with my babies. After I got married my now ex husband wouldn't allow chickens. Should have tipped me off LOL. Anyway, I now am happy to have poultry back in my life. Before I didn't know a lot so I am looking to read as much as possible.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I started out with a couple ducks last summer and then this spring went yep, I have to dive right back in. I have 70 chickens, 24 ducks and 2 geese. Some will be sold or go to freezer camp though as they are straight run.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I have Swedish Flower Hens, several varieties of Wyandottes and Blue Andulasions. Pekin ducks and Pomeranian geese

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I love all things crafty including quilting and soap making
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
This could get lengthy so I will do the condensed version. My 2 daughters and I have 5 dogs, several cats, the poultry listed above, 70 sheep club lamb breed, 40 cows either club calf or registered herefords, 3 alpaca, 1 goat, a miniature donkey and 4 full size horses and 2 mini horses. I also drive school bus and work part time for the county. We live in ND and I have all my life. It is so dry this year that I am seriously thinking of relocating though
