New to BYC

I have had chickens for quite awhile now. Have looked on this site for a few years and learned quite a bit! Thank you.
I currently have 3 hens and 1 rooster. RIR, langshan and a Plymoth Rock. Not sure what my rooster is, I'm thinking a RIR but he's not a red as my girl.
Recently, my plymoth Rock had a partial broken soft egg hanging out and, she was sitting on the roost fairly early in the evening. (Not normal behavior for her). So, I was able to pull it out and clean her up a bit. I'm a bit concerned. Any suggestions?

I would post on the "emergencies, diseases, injuries, cures," thread in fullest detail. I would assume anything still left inside her to cause serious infection.

If u had a incubator u can put it there to hatch because chickens get nervous while sitting on there eggs. anyways WELCOME TO BYC THIS APP IS VERY HELPFUL FOR EVERYONE WHO NEEDS ANSWERS FOR THERR CHICKENS AND TYPES OF PET BIRDS SO THIS APP WILL U HELP U ALOT FOR U AND UR CHICKEN
