  1. Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
    No, I have been around chickens my whole life growing up in a farming community of NC, but I didn't get any of my own until Feb of 2018.


  2. How many chickens do you have right now?
    I currently have 4, and may get more later...


  3. What breeds do you have?
    All 4 are White Plymouth Rocks.


  4. How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
    During the prep phase of getting my chickens. Wanted ideas on coop designs and general pointers. Finally created an account on here when I was curious to the breed of bird I had. Tractor Supply lied about their breed when I purchased them.


  5. What are some of your other hobbies?
    Jack of all trades really, just enjoy learning new things. I like working with my hands and with electronics.


  6. Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
    Family of 3 with 2 dogs (German Shepherd and a mutt). Fenced in backyard for the chickens and dogs to free range.


  7. Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
    Seems like a repeat of question 4... I answered both of these on question 4 lol.

Yeah, I don’t think they lie on purpose, but sometimes a shipment comes in and there might just be kids working or someone who doesn’t know their head from a hole in the ground about baby chicks.... oh well. By the time they grow up usually you’ll love them anyway.
So what kind did you end up with? Have you found out yet?
