New to BYC

Hello!
I have had chickens for about a year now. We were looking for just eggs, so for about a year we only had Easter Eggers, Golden Comets, and ISA Browns. I started getting into chickens, and they soon became my favorite animal! So I got some of the breeds I wanted specifically, so I added Speckled Sussex, Silver Laced Wyandotte, Sapphire Gem, Black Australorp, and Prairie Bluebell Egger to my flock.
We also breed goats and have a small dairy operation, have a cat, dog and rabbit.
I have been observing BYC posts to answer my questions about chickens and now that I know quite a bit, I've decided to join myself and ask my own questions!
