1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We have had chickens for almost 9 months now but these are our first set. We’ve chicken sat before and had some prior knowledge/experience
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
we currently have 7 chickens
(3) What breeds do you have?
we have 3 black Australorp, 2 Easter eggers, 1 Rhode Island Red and 1 ISA brown.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Watching my kids love to talk to them and help take care of them
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, sewing, cooking
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
we are the Stuber’s. We have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. My husband works in aviation and is a pilot and mechanic. We love having a large backyard for chickens and gardening.

friends who used to have chickens recommended this as the best forum about chickens. We’re excited to be a part of this community!
