New to BYC

My husband grew up with chickens around. I had some exposure but very limited.
We decided to take the plunge this year. We are starting with 4 White Leghorns, 8 Bantam Barred Rock, 2 Snowy Easter Eggers, 2 Partridge Olive Eggers and a Maran. We are getting ready to start our coop and run.
We have 2 dogs(mini and Giant Schnauzers) and 2 Maine Coon cats. They keep us occupied as well.
Found this site while researching chickens. I knew I'd join. Great information on here. Thanks for letting me join!
