(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I’ve been raising chickens for about 10 years now. Our first chickens we given to us by a family friend.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
currently we have 13 chickens and 2 turkies
(3) What breeds do you have?
barred rock, Orpington, golden comet, Wyandotte, aracauna
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love watching them, taking care of them and of course eggs
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
knitting, beekeeping, dog training
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
2 kids, we homeschool. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats and a tortoise.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I’ve definitely clicked into BYC before but today I finally joined.
