(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I first got chickens a year and a half ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

3 Satins and 1 Silkie
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They are just so funny to watch. My rooster Roger especially has a connection with me and he comes running when I get home from work.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I also make candles and sew.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am an engineering technician in the aviation industry. I have two Great Danes and a Frenchie who also enjoy my chickens, everyone gets along.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I just heard about the site by a friend who also have chickens as well as turkeys. I thought it would be a great place for questions and information.
