New to BYC

Hi, just a quick intro. I'm Diane from Boerne, TX (north of San Antonio). I just got 15 Rhode Island Red chicks yesterday and am very excited. I think I checked them at least 40 times before going to bed last night. My hobby and career is as a wildlife rehabilitator and caretaker at a large sanctuary. I have a wonderfully supportive husband (he is also the chief cage builder), 6 cats and a goldfish. I found this wonderful website while doing my research to start my chicken endeavor and found this to be the most informative of all sites. Glad to be a part of a truly caring group of people. Thanks
