Hello to everyone at BYC. I just created a profile yesterday. I am currently finishing up a new chicken coop with a nice run to go with it. I am waiting on some chicks due to ship to me in about a month. I enjoy having chickens but I think my wife may think I'm a bit crazy. I am also very fond of the Seabright bantams. I have had them in the past but sadly the wild critters got them. They'll have to work very hard to get any now because i now have a fortified coop. Also as a side note I happen to live in South GA in a town that is the home of the Wild Chicken. Anyone ever heard of Fitzgerald, GA. The streets of that small town is just teaming with wild chickens. As the story goes, wild jungle fowl were brought here in the 1950's for the purpose of hunting. I don't know how well the hunting thing went but I know that adapted well. Anyway, it's great to be here and I hope to meet some interesting people who share my fondness of chickens.
