Hey all new to BYC but not chickens and other birds.. I grew up on a ranch in AZ had chickens my whole life..

Joined the Army at 18 and retired now got back into chickens and birds..

I have

12 4 mo old chickens

2 toulouse Geese same age

4 newer chicks

and 11 Ducks

5 Mallards
1 Rouen
2 Buff Orpingtons
and a few other breed I cant think of off hand..

its gonna be a challenge in Alaska keeping them year round but already planning for the winter and summer just got here..

Looking forward to the site and I am reading and catching up on 20 years of knowledge that has changed since I grew up raising birds.
