Hi, I'm Jazx,
I've been a lurker for more than 7 months. I love the site and have gotten much useful information. I joined because I have some questions that I cannot find answers to.
We have 7 chickens (we had 8, Beaker (cross beaked) died young)
2 Silkie Bantums (a white and a black)
2 Bard Rocks
2 Red Sex Links
1 Americuna
I spent 3 months with my two sons and built as my wife calls it "The Chicken Mahal" - a small coop and run, 18' long, 6' wide, 8' tall
A friend asked us over to give me ideas after I started mine and give me pointers on how to build a coop, I'm sure with encouragement from my wife. (She was the one who wanted chickens) The coop was a chicken tractor the pyramid style, 6' long by 4' high. I didn't tell them much about mine, then after we place the chickens in, my wife showed them some pictures. OOOHHH MYYYYY.
We also have 3 indoor cats, 3 hermit crabs, and 2 turtles (RES) - I keep asking for a hamster.
Well enough bout me I am off to post a question.
