New to BYC

Hello, thanks for having me.
I live in Central SC, my son has chickens (Bantum Ameriucanas) that we are keeping for a couple months. The 2 hens were sitting and out of 20 eggs 18 hatched. He is taking his 4 back to the Aviary at Clemson Univ. where he will be graduating from in the spring in (AVS).
The nuggets are about 5 weeks old, and my son inspired me to join this forum. I look forward to learning all I can about chickens. I am pretty good with our 8 ducks, we have had ducks for quite a few years now. I am a Vet Tech of over 30 years now and am presently in school for Clinical Laboratory Science. I hope to someday have a lab and can help the vets in the general area with their testing needs for any and every animal. Hopefully my AVS student will have a hand in it with me.
